LOGLINE:

When death can ease the pain, that illness brings.

We do not think twice before killing a sick animal, but we will stop a human from killing themselves who are sick. Why?

What makes it wrong for a human to decide to end their life, when all they have to look forward to is pain and suffering, into a slow death.

SYNOPSIS:

Lilly survived a brain tumor once and started living life, even found love after spending a lifetime of just focusing on work. But just when she thinks life is at its best, Lilly finds out that her brain tumor came back, and to top it off she also was gifted lung cancer.

Treatments are killing her faster than her cancer is. She has gone through her savings a second time, with no hopes for the future she was planing for. After a very bad night after chemo, she decides that she wants to end it all. Her organs are falling off her, and her cancer is not leaving no matter how many chemicals her doctor gives her.

So she asks her doctor for help ending her life. But instead, he tries to have her committed and her request goes to court. But when it looks like she will lose her right to end her life. So her boyfriend and best friend help her run away.

While on the road seeing things everything they can fit in on the way to their final destination. Nathan (Lilly's boyfriend) asks Lilly to marry him. After some convincing, they get married a few days before they say goodbye forever.
